If you’re following me on Instagram, you would know that about five months ago I bought a Gucci belt (This one to be exact). A lot of people have asked if I regret buying it or if I wished I would have gone a different route.
The answer to that is no – I don’t regret a thing! I love that belt to death! Yes, the belt was a LOT of money- especially for a belt- but the quality, and timeless design cannot be beaten.
Why Designer?
One of the most asked questions is why designer? Why spend that much when there are plenty of dupes/fake ones? For me, as a fashion-style expert, it’s not about the money. It’s about supporting originality and craftsmanship! Sure, I could save a couple of hundred dollars but by doing so, I am giving my money to some random person making money off someone else designs. I understand that $450 is a lot of money, I had to save for a long time but, if you want a Gucci Belt it’s worth it!
What Do I Recommend?
I would recommend really thinking about why you want said designer piece. Is it because it’s trendy, do you just want a statement piece, or have you been dreaming of this piece for years? If it’s for a trend, please don’t go buy it! Find something else with a similar vibe (NOT A FAKE VERSION)! There are SO many up and coming designers with unique pieces with similar vibes and some even maybe half the price! Look on bloggers Instagram, you’ll find so many cool new boutiques with amazing pieces if you just want a fun statement piece! If you have been eyeing and dreaming of this piece for years, then go for it! You probably won’t regret it!
